Welcome

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the Ninth International Symposium On Radiation Safety and Detection Technology (ISORD-9) to be held at Nagoya University in Nagoya, Japan on July 10-14, 2017.

The objective of ISORD is to provide a forum in which participants exchange their views and information on radiation safety and detection technology, and also address general issues in radiation protection. The participants include international experts in the field such as scientists, medical doctors, and industrial engineers. Over the past 14 years, ISORD has been organized every two years in Japan, Korea, China, and Malaysia with over 300 participants from all around the world.

The 2017 symposium is mainly organized by Division of Radiation Science and Engineering, Atomic Energy Society of Japan (AESJ) and will continue providing attractive opportunities to share various scientific and technical findings and information and to address the state-of-the-art technology on radiation safety and detection.
